You were made to glorify God by knowing Him.
People often wonder about their purpose until God reveals Himself to them. When you encounter God and see Him for all He is, you realize that He is why you exist and ether repent and trust Him or reject Him and continue in sin. He created you, so that you could know Him. Life has meaning beyond meager living; you are God's child when you are redeemed.
If you are sensing some inkling that there is Something more to this life than what is in front of you, some draw to God, then I encourage you to take three simple steps in accordance with that draw: Repent of your sin.Believe in Jesus’ atoning death and resurrection. Declare Jesus your Lord.
Repent
Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. Reading the Bible (start at the Gospel of John.) Get around people who love Jesus and ask whatever you want. Figure out Who Jesus is and why He matters. But, repent of your sin and trust Him.
Believe
Trust Jesus. Believe that He died to pay the penalty for everything you ever did wrong (Romans 6:23). Sin separated you from God, but Jesus made a way back through his atoning death on the cross and bodily resurrection from the dead.
Declare
Jesus is fully God and fully man. It is important that you recognize Him as your Lord. Declare Him the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9). Recognize Him as the master over your life. Follow Christ accordingly.
As you abide in Christ through Scripture, Prayer, and Communion with other believers, you connect with God and become more and more like Jesus. Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength and love people like you love yourself (Mark 12:30-31).
Pray, witness, and disciple. Follow Jesus.
